Physiotherapy
Becky Purdy, PT

Originally from Truro, Becky lives with her family in the White Hills subdivision in Hammonds Plains. Becky is registered and licensed with the Nova Scotia College of
Physiotherapists and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy
Association. She graduated in 2007 from an accredited University
Physiotherapy Program at the Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy. Becky has worked in private practice for over five years and also has experience working with inpatient orthopedics in the hospital setting. It was Becky's dream to open a Physiotherapy clinic and she is still excited that she was able to do so with her husband/business partner in their community. Becky
continues to improve her skills and knowledge by taking continuing
education courses. She has taken many post-graduate courses in manual
therapy, acupuncture, kinesiotaping and exercise prescription. She
enjoys being active, spending time with her family including the newest
addition to her family, her baby daughter.
Natalie Leger, PT

Natalie joined the Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy team in October 2012. Born and raised in Moncton, New Brunswick, she recently graduated with her Masters in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in August 2012. Previous to that, Natalie received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in May 2010 from Dalhousie. Throughout her Physiotherapy schooling, Natalie has worked in a wide range of fields from paediatrics, acute burns unit, neuro rehabilitation and cardiac rehabilitation. She was also fortunate enough to complete a clinical placement at the St. James Hospital in Dublin, Ireland, after which she traveled Europe. Currently Natalie is also working at Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy helping out with lab demonstrations and clinical interactions. Natalie is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and hopes to continue learning and expanding her practice by taking post-graduate courses.
Massage Therapy
Jennifer Delaney, RMT

Jennifer joined the Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy team in February 2012. She earned her Diploma in Massage Therapy in 2004 at ICT Northumberland College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Jennifer has many different interests; traveling, exercising and spending time with her dog Cuba and her family.
Arlene Tait, RMT

Arlene joined the Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy team in April 2013. She can address her clients goals through her varied work experience and post grad training (which includes Neuromuscular Therapy, Fascial or Lymphatic work).
She looks forward for the opportunity to help her clients return to their optimal functioning.
Administration
Nathan Thomas- Business Manager

Husband and business partner to Becky, Nathan takes care of the accounting, advertising and other business operation tasks. Clients may also occasionally find him at our reception desk in the evenings or on weekends, taking calls, payments and booking client appointments.
Nancy Daye- Daytime Office Administrator

Nancy joined the Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy team in October 2012. She is a graduate of Eastern College earning a diploma in the Executive Office Assistant program specializing in Medical terminology and documentation. In her spare time she enjoys playing cards, gardening, going for walks and spending time with her family and friends.
Angela McNamara- Evening Office Administrator

Angela joined the Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy team in October 2012. Angela resides in the Hammonds Plains area with her family and looks forward to meeting other members of the community and surrounding areas. Some of Angela's interests include baking, traveling and above all, spending time with her family.
